News » Farm event draws both candidates for governor
June 4, 2012 With the clock ticking before tomorrow's recall election for governor, both candidates visited the same place yesterday morning in their push for the support of independents and the undecided.
Governor Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett didn't actually cross paths, but they were at the Brown County Breakfast on the Farm, near De Pere, at the same time.
Walker says he's reaching out to as many people as possible in the remaining hours.
Barrett says he's reaching out to everyone, even people who don't support him, because they need to work together.
Barrett and Walker served eggs, at different times, from the same spot in the food line.
