News » A.G. sending teams to watch over polls
June 5, 2012 The state justice department is assigning staffers to polling places in various communities today.
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says it's something they've done in the past, as part of their election integrity efforts. He says they just want to make sure people are following election laws.
Van Hollen says they'll have single teams in Appleton and Green Bay. Milwaukee will have the most, with seven.
Assistant attorneys general and agents from the department of criminal investigation are on the teams. |
