New police cars in Menasha will have a different design.
City Police Chief Tim Styka says they held a contest, and a new graduate of Menasha high school had the winning entry.
He says the cars will still be black, with white doors, but they'll have a blue, curved diagonal stripe on the doors.
Styka says the words "Police" and "Menasha" are also more prominent than they are on their current cars.
Allyson Pafel submitted the winning design.
Styka says they're going to roll out the new design, as they replace their squad cars. He says that's because of the cost of repainting their existing squads. |
