News » Hilbert man in court for crash with motorcycles
June 5, 2012 Prosecutors are filing more serious charges against the Hilbert man who crashed into a group of motorcyclists.
25-year-old Clinton Lovelace was in Fond du Lac County court this morning, and he's now facing six felonies, including second-degree reckless homicide.
Authorities say Lovelace crossed the centerline on Highway 151 last Thursday afternoon, and hit 10 motorcycles. 59-year-old Daniel Winsemius of Twin Lake, Michigan was killed, and three others are in critical condition at Theda Clark Medical Center.
Lovelace is also charged with three counts of second-degree reckless injury, and single counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, and felony bail jumping.
A judge set Lovelace's bond at $75,000. Authorities arrested him on a charge of homicide by negligent driving. |
