News » GAB warns about electioneering at polls
June 5, 2012 The head of the state Government Accountability Board hopes voters "play by the rules" in today's recall election.
Kevin Kennedy says people can't have signs, shirts, candidate buttons, or other material meant to support, or oppose a candidate, within 100 feet of a polling place. He says harassing people going to vote, or leaving a polling place is also against the rules.
Given the emotion and passion involved in the recall race, Kennedy says there might be more complaints than usual. |
