June 11, 2012 The mercury didn't reach record levels over the weekend, but it was the hottest weather so far this year in Wisconsin.
Lt. Brad Paltzer of the Grand Chute fire department says there are precautions people need to take, to avoid suffering from heat exhaustion. He says they include drinking plenty of liquids, and making sure not to do too much outside.
Temperatures were in the 90s over the weekend. Heat-related illnesses claimed five lives in Wisconsin last year. |
