The economic impact of the arts in the Greater Fox Cities region tops $32 million a year. That's the finding of a national organization.
Spokeswoman Maria Van Laanen of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center says they studied about two-dozen non-profits that depend on fundraising.
The study shows the arts support about 430 jobs in the area every year.
It found almost 24 percent of people who go to events come from outside Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties. |
