News » UW, DPI to offer college classes in high schools
June 12, 2012 A new partnership between the UW Colleges and the state department of public instruction will give students more access to college courses, while they're in high school.
UW-Fox Valley Dean Martin Rudd says they're going to offer classes in high schools, taught by accredited teachers. He says they'll also offer classes on-line, if a school doesn't have a certified teacher.
Rudd says they haven't figured out how much the classes would cost.
At the latest, officials hope to start the program by the 2013-14 school year. |
