News » UW-System to offer flexible degree program
June 19, 2012 A new program would let UW students take classes online, and get credit for their past work experiences.
Governor Walker is traveling across the state today, announcing the program. He says equivalency exams would let students earn credits for knowledge that they've already learned, and the online classes will make it easier for full time workers to earn their degree.
UW-System president Kevin Reilly hopes to have the program running by the fall. He says it will focus on nursing, IT, and technical programs . |
