News » Dental bus making stops at summer programs
June 20, 2012 Children at the Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley are getting free dental care this week, thanks to a local non-profit.
Bob Glass is the executive director of the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic. He says people from his office stopped by the club yesterday to screen low-income children. On Friday, the clinic's mobile office will come back to fill cavities, take x-rays, and perform other procedures.
Glass says the dental bus will going to local Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA's all summer, and he hopes they can treat 1,200 kids.
Glass says once the new school year starts, the mobile clinic will make regular stops at schools in Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties. |
