News » Neenah passes animal rules
June 21, 2012 Neenah officials are making it clear how many pets people can have at their home.
City Attorney Jim Godlewski says the city council put rules in place last night, and they include a limit of three dogs, and three cats. He says on top of that, people can also have up to 10 other domestic animals.
The rules specifically ban certain farm and exotic animals in the city.
Godlewski says the council did include a grandfather clause, so people don't have to give up their current pets, if they're beyond the limit.
He says they do need to prove that they're licensed, and they've received the necessary vaccinations. |
