News » Agency wants SeniorCare to stay the same
June 20, 2012 State officials are working to make sure the popular SeniorCare program sticks around a lot longer.
Kitty Rhodes is the deputy secretary of the department of health services. She says the agency plans to ask for a waiver from the federal government to keep the prescription drug program going without any changes. She says most of the 87,000 people who use it, like it just the way it is.
Over the next several weeks, the department will host town hall meetings on the program in Stevens Point, Waukesha and Hudson. |
