Last year's Miss Wisconsin became Miss America, and the pageant to pick the state's next winner starts tonight.
Pageant spokeswoman Ann Stawski says it's one of the preliminary rounds. The finals will be on Saturday.
There are 23 contestants from around the state, and the winner will advance to the Miss America pageant.
Miss America Laura Kaeppler will be in Oshkosh for the competition. Stawski says the Kenosha woman got a chance to fulfill one of her dreams, by meeting Aaron Rodgers at a Milwaukee Bucks game earlier this year.
Stawski says tickets are still available for tonight's show. It starts at 7:30 p.m., at Oshkosh West high school. |
