There's a new attraction for kids in Green Bay.
The Children's Museum held its grand opening ceremony this morning.
Executive Director Toni Burnett says it's the culmination of several years of planning, and two years of construction. She says it was exciting to see about 250 kids running around this morning.
The museum is in the downtown, in the 300 block of N. Washington Street,and Burnett says it has activities for kids of all ages.
The museum's board members are still trying to raise $1 million, to reach their $4.5 million goal.
Burnett says they hope to close that gap, now that people can see the museum. |
