News » 2 lawmakers boycotting 'brat summit'
June 11, 2012 The goal of Governor Walker's "brat summit" tomorrow is to jump-start a more bi-partisan atmosphere, but lawmakers from both parties are already bickering about it.
Republican Rep. Steve Nass of Whitewater and Democratic Rep. Mark Pocan of Madison say they're boycotting the event at the governor's mansion.
Nass says he's not happy with critical comments that Democrats made about Governor Walker over the weekend.
Pocan says there needs to be a real dialogue about bipartisanship, and not just over brats and beer. |
