The suspect in a high-speed chase in Ashwaubenon crashed into an on-coming vehicle, and then tried to run away.
Police say they were trying to arrest the 35-year-old Green Bay man on a felony retail theft charge, around 5 p.m. yesterday. They say he took off on Ashland Avenue, and made his way to Holmgren Way, before he crossed the centerline and hit the oncoming vehicle.
Two officers were able to catch the suspect, after he ran from the accident scene.
The other driver was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The man also had nine outstanding warrants. |
