With Launchpad, a music competition for high school students who are in bands formed outside of school, you'll compete against your peers in a regional concert extravaganza. The top three finalists from each region then compete in Madison for the grand prize.
Sixty bands (15 bands for each of four statewide regional competitions) will be chosen to perform this Spring as they vy to be one of 3 bands in each regional to advance to the finals show (June 8th at Union South on the UW-Madison campus) for the grand prize of:
- The Les Paul Launchpad Award
- Free recording time at Blast House Studios in Madison
- 2013 Summerfest gig
- Yamaha music package for your school's music program
