With football season looming right around the corner and preseason being halfway over, it got me thinking about ALL my favorite places I like to catch football games. Let’s get right into it.
Richard Craniums (Green Bay) – You HAD to have known this place was going to make the list. $2 domestic pints, $3 rail mixers, a free shot on every touchdown, the penalty flag special (where you can to hold a big plastic dong) plus every drink you purchase gets you a raffle ticket into their end of the year Super Bowl raffle where you could win a $1,000 bar tab. If that isn’t enough to entice you in, they have a great clientele & staff not to mention a couple of projection screens setup so you are never without eye shot of the action.
Redliner (Menasha) – In the past Redliner has done their thing with $1 off pint mixers in the past with shots for every score. You never know what you might run into happening on a Packer game day here. I went in one time and there was a chili cook off going on! They’ve also got a newly renovated outdoor area with bags and giant connect for. (You can even get service outside through a back window!) Oh yeah, and don’t forget you can get one of their big pizzas with all they offer for $12. You won’t be disappointed.
Jitters (Menasha) – This one might be a bit of surprise, but don’t let it fool you, this is a great place for game day’s. Jitters is reasonably priced, is a lot roomier than it looks from the outside and has an outdoor area. You might get that “Who are you” look from the regulars, but if you stick around, you’ll leave as friends. In the past they’ve had slow-cookers full of food and give out the traditional shot for every Packers touchdown.
Those are my game day choices for this week’s #ThirstyThursday. If there is a place where you like to go catch football games, please let me know! I always love checking out new places. Hit me up on Instagram, Snap Chat & Twitter @whatthechuck99
