I have to start out by apologizing for missing out on last week’s blog. With the holiday weekend in the midst, I had a lot of other things to take care of for work. Those 3 day weekends are nice, but it takes a lot of work to get prepared for them.
This week I’m going to switch it up a bit and start pointing out my 3 favorite establishments in areas.
On Sunday I did my own little bar tour in Little Chute simply because I had never been to any of those places and I wanted to switch it up.
Gentleman Jack’s – Located just a couple blocks off Main Street, this place doesn’t look like much when you roll up. But once you walk in, it opens up. One of those places that looks a lot bigger on the inside than the outside. It’s got, what I think to be, a nice cabin feel to it. They do live music, various drawings and have daily special to add to the friendly bartenders. It’s not one of those places that if you’re not a regular, you get weird looks. One of the more humorous parts was the two toilets in the men’s room that face each other. So you can do some weird things with that.
Down The Hill – Located, at you guessed it, down the hill from Gentleman Jack’s is this place. It has a huge upside for an outdoor patio of some sort as it is located across the Fox River and Island Park. You walk in to a rather roomy bar that has your normal setup. My favorite part about this place is that they are all in on jalapeno’s. They have a couple of jalapeno appetizers that include jalapeno cheese curds! It has a cozy feel and has prices that you would expect in Northeast Wisconsin.
M’s Bar – Located right on Main Street, this bar has a little more action to it as they host bands of all sorts and gets a little more of an active crowd. This place is HUGE on the inside where there is a wide open area for the bands and overflow of crowd and in the front room is where you find the bar. This is a good place for a 21st birthday venture and to plain just get down.
There are my 3 picks for Little Chute. If there are any gems I may have missed out on, please let me know! I LOVE exploring new places. Hit me up on Instagram, Snap Chat & Twitter @whatthechuck99.
