Such is life, this blog is ever evolving. I like to call this weekly blog “Chuck’s Choice” and it’s going to be a combination of what used to be “Brotiquing” & “Thirsty Thursday.” I am going to blog about places I have visited in the past week and point out my favorite things about those places. I will also take your suggestions on where to visit and what to get. Enough explanation. If you follow along, you’ll get the hang of it. Let’s get things started.
As most of my weekends start and consist of in Green Bay, they normally revolve around Richard Craniums. This bar is located on the south end of Broadway and offer a variety of drink specials, bar games (even free pool on Sunday & Monday), leagues (pool/darts) and special events. Some of my personal favorite times to show up are on game day’s to watch any of Wisconsin’ favorite sports teams on their handful of TV’s or two projector screens chatting with the friendly clientele and staff. Seriously, they are all pretty awesome. You’ll never be alone here.
Aside from the drinks, they have a simple, yet growing/changing menu that is sure to soak up either whatever ails you from the day before or to give you the nice coat in your stomach for the day of. They have both bone in & boneless wings which are on special on Sunday’s, a “Six Buck Lunch” special from 11am-2pm Monday thru Friday and a “Breakfast & Bloody” special for the weekend warriors. I personally would recommend getting “The Cranium.” boneless wings in between garlic bread. *drools*
The last thing I would like to mention is how involved in the community this place is. Several, if not all, of the events they host goes toward many of the local charities. This place is not short of giving back. So next time you see an event from them on Facebook, click on it to see the details. More than likely the proceeds are going to a great local cause.
Hopefully you check out this place and if you do, let me know what you think of it. You can also give me suggestions on where to go by hitting me up on Instagram, Snap Chat or Twitter @whatthechuck99.
Be safe out there and have fun!
