A 72-year-old Little Chute woman is dead, after she was hit by a car last night.
Fox Valley Metro Police Lt. Mark Wery says the woman was riding a bike on E. North Avenue at Bohm Drive, near the industrial park.
Wery says the driver is cooperating, and they don’t believe texting and driving, or alcohol and drugs were factors.
The woman was hit, just before 6:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Wery says they’re still trying to piece together what happened.
