Neenah is the latest community that might add vaping to its smoking ban.
Mayor Dean Kaufert thinks it’ll make it easier for police and places like bars and restaurants. He says the law would clear up confusion about enforcing the ban.
Kaufert says their law would be similar to ones in Appleton and De Pere that exempt vaping shops. He says customers might want samples and they accept the risk of being exposed to it.
The city’s public services and safety committee approved the proposal. The city council could take it up next week.
