Investigators say they found human remains on a Missouri farm where they’ve been searching for two missing brothers from the Seymour area.
Thirty-four-year-old Nick Diemel and 24-year-old Justin Diemel went missing on a business trip to Missouri.
Clinton County Sheriff Larry Fish says they’re working with forensic experts to try to identify the remains.
Twenty-five-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson is in custody, on charges that he drove the Diemels’ rental truck to a park-and-ride lot. Nelson’s farm in Braymer, northeast of Kansas City, is the last known place where the brothers were.
Nelson spent two years in federal prison for fraud, for selling cattle that didn’t belong to him.
The Diemel brothers are the owners of Diemel’s Livestock.
