A suspect in the disappearance of two brothers from the Seymour area will stay in jail, without bond.
Twenty-five-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson didn’t have an attorney during a bond hearing this morning, in a Missouri courtroom. He wants the hearing to be pushed back to August 8th.
Nelson was arrested after 34-year-old Nick Diemel and his 24-year-old brother Justin went missing. They went to Nelson’s farm in Braymer on July 21st, the day they went missing.
Prosecutors say Nelson drove the brothers’ rented truck to a park-and-ride lot and left it there.
Investigators say they found human remains on Nelson’s property, but they haven’t identified them yet.
