The man in custody in connection with the disappearance of two brothers from the Seymour area will stay behind bars without bail.
Twenty-five-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson is charged with driving the truck rented by 35-year-old Nick Diemel and 24-year-old Justin Diemel. He was in court this morning.
The Diemels are presumed dead, after they went missing last month. They visited Nelson’s farm in Braymer, Missouri on a business trip.
Investigators say they found human remains on Nelson’s property, and they’re trying to identify them.
Prosecutors haven’t filed any other charges against Nelson.
He’ll be back in court for a preliminary hearing on August 15th.
