The state is now seeing cases of lung disease that are connected to vaping, in young and older people.
The health department is reporting 12 confirmed cases. At least one is in Winnebago County. Thirteen others are under investigation.
The initial patients were teens and young adults. The agency has since found cases in older age groups.
