A former YMCA worker in Oshkosh will go to jail for a year, after he pleaded no contest to sexually assaulting a child.
Seventy-six-year-old B.T. Adams will also spend another five years on probation.
Winnebago County Judge Scott Woldt decided Adams could go to prison for six years, if he violates his probation.
Assistant District Attorney Tracy Paider asked for a six-year prison sentence that would start immediately.
Adams was convicted of one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Prosecutors say he had sexual contact with a three-year-old girl at a YMCA location. They say he was caught on surveillance video.
Adams worked in the child care area, and he dressed up as Santa Claus in the past.
