Hundreds of excited people got their hands on tickets for the first stop of “Hamilton” in Wisconsin.
The musical is coming to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in downtown Appleton in October.
Tickets went on sale at the PAC box office at 8 a.m.
PAC President Maria Van Laanen says they had a record number of buyers show up for any opening day of ticket sales.
She says the first person in line camped out, starting at 10 p.m. last night. There were about 650 people waiting by 8 a.m.
Everyone in line this morning was able to get tickets.
“Hamilton” will be at the PAC from October 1st through the 20th for 24 performances.
