There won’t be any term limits on boards and commissions in the City of Oshkosh.
Mayor Lori Palmeri floated the idea, arguing it would give more people a chance to take part in government.
But council members like Steve Herman countered that voters can change their representation at City Hall at any time.
Some council members have resisted Palmeri’s efforts to remove long-standing members of some city committees, and replace them with relative newcomers.
