People in Green Bay may be able to park in the city overnight if they pay a fee.
Right now overnight parking isn’t allowed on any city street between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
Some neighbors say that’s a problem if a family has several cars or if they have guests over.
A Green Bay committee is taking up the idea.
Alderman Mark Steuer is proposing alternate side night parking for a price.
He thinks money collected should go to the parking utility and could be used to offset costs to build a new parking ramp or repairs to other parking structures.
The proposal is still in committee and Steuer says they have to study the issue.
