A hearing is set today in a lawsuit alleging the owners of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh can’t pay their bills.
Winnebago County Judge John Jorgensen will hear arguments this afternoon on why the arena should be placed into receivership.
Bayland Buildings is suing the facility’s owner, Fox Valley Pro Basketball, for default on a $13 million construction loan.
Bayland wants attorney Paul Swanson be appointed the receiver and keep the arena operating.
Swanson oversaw receivership for the Utica Energy ethanol plant and the Hotel Northland in Green Bay.
