Green Bay police are investigating shots fired near the intersection of Cherry and Irwin streets in the downtown.
Sgt. Tom Denny says they were called to the area around 6:15 p.m.
Denny says people in two cars met earlier and then again at the intersection where they shot at each other.
Denny says they don’t believe anyone was hurt but officers did find a bullet hole in the front porch of a nearby home.
They continue to look for suspects.
