A nonprofit in Oshkosh is helping teachers get their classrooms ready.
Teachers’ Closet gives them school supplies at the beginning of the school year and throughout the year.
The volunteer-run organization is set up at Peace Lutheran Church. Andy Barber works at Valley Christian School in Oshkosh. He says it was especially valuable when he was first hired and didn’t have a lot of things.
Teachers’ Closet also gives supplies to students. It relies on donations from the community and fundraisers.
