The president of Fox Valley Pro Basketball is loaning $200,000 from another company he owns to run the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh.
Greg Pierce runs Windward Wealth Strategies, and the money will be used for cash flow needs.
The arena owners filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this week.
A statement from Fox Valley Pro Basketball claims that Pierce was close to securing full financing to pay its bills, when Bayland Buildings filed a lawsuit earlier this month.
An attorney for F.V.P.B. believes they should be able to exit the bankruptcy process within a relatively short time, and they expect to pay all of the principal amounts they owe creditors.
