The Kmart store in Waupaca will be closing.
The retailer notified the state Department of Workforce Development about the decision. Around 40 people are expected to lose their jobs, sometime in November.
Once it closes, there will only be four Kmart stores left in the state. One is in Ripon. The others are in Racine, Kenosha, and Mauston.
