Fewer students will be fully immunized at the start of the school year.
State health officials say nearly 92 percent will meet immunization requirements. They say that number should be closer to 95 percent to protect the community, especially against measles.
The department found most parents aren’t immunizing their kids because of personal reasons, and not religious or medical ones.
The number of waivers for personal reasons nearly quadrupled over the past two decades.
