The Oshkosh school district will be retraining its staff on student record security.
Deputy Superintendent David Gundlach says their focus recently has been on digital breaches
Gundlach says an incident at the former Smith Elementary School this summer, where student medical records were just thrown in the trash, shows it’s not enough.
Gundlach adds that custodian, clerical workers and para-professionals will also be added to data security training programs from now on.
