Several Republicans are angling toward a run at the Congressional seat being vacated by James Sensenbrenner.
The long-time representative of the fifth district announced he will not seek another term after 40-years in office. Among those indicating they may make a run are former State Senator Leah Vukmir, State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, State Senators Dale Kooyenga and Chris Kapenga–along with former U.S. Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson.
Several of those candidates weren’t even born yet when Sensenbrenner was first elected to Congress in 1978.
