The results are in from yesterday’s special election in Appleton.
In District six Denise Fenton defeated former alderman Greg Dannecker by 90 votes, 282 to 192.
In District 15 Hope Karth received 10 votes even though she dropped out of the race and endorsed Corey Otis.
He received 97 votes.
Less than 600 people voted in the special election. There are about 5,300 registered voters in the combined districts.
Fenton and Otis will be sworn in at the Common Council meeting next Wednesday.
