The suspect in a Neenah murder could face formal charges as soon as today.
Police arrested 36-year-old Casey Cameron of Menasha for last month’s robbery and shooting at the Short Branch Saloon. Kevin “Hollywood” Hein was a customer there, and he was killed.
According to Cameron’s Facebook page, his wife was a bartender there, but she wasn’t at the bar that night.
Cameron posted on Facebook several hours after the robbery. He asked people to “keep the other families and folks present” in their hearts and minds.
One of Hein’s friends, Bob “Broadway” Polsin, was concerned police wouldn’t be able to catch the killer. He says he was concerned the suspect was from outside of the area, and possibly the state.
Police want Winnebago County prosecutors to charge Cameron with first-degree intentional homicide, robbery, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
