Northeast Wisconsin homeowners are finding out early this year, if their furnaces are working properly.
A number of companies aren’t able to keep up with calls from people without heat this week.
Shannon Beyersdorf at Bay Area Services says getting an annual check-up would fix most of the problems, before it gets cold. He also reminds people to make sure their furnace intake and exhaust ports are clear.
He says they should change their filters at least once a year.
