Filming is underway in Neenah this week on a “docu-drama” about the standoff and police shooting at Eagle Nation Cycles.
A crew is working on “The $50 Million Bullet” to tell the story of the shooting of hostage Michael Funk. Funk was killed while trying to escape from the shop in 2015.
Funk’s friend Kay Reetz admits the production brings back tough memories.
The film will focus on the perspective of the hostages inside the building that day. Some are playing themselves in the movie.
Brian Flatoff was sentenced to 100 years in prison for the standoff.
