Winnebago County’s district attorney says people need to be vigilant about social media posts, in the wake of last week’s attack at Oshkosh West.
About seven hours before the stabbing, Grant Fuhrman is accused of posting a picture on Snapchat with the message “Today’s the Day.” It also had an emoji of a smiling face with devil horns.
D.A. Christian Gossett says it’s crucial for people to come forward to school officials and police. He says people need to talk to their children about speaking out. He says the number of threats is absolutely unacceptable.
Investigators say they also found something on Fuhrman’s Instagram account from September. He’s accused of writing “murder on my mind brother,” in a reply to someone’s comment.
