Appleton students will be helping the community on this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The district is holding a day of service.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer Pa Lee Moua says Appleton West High School is hosting a program at 10 a.m., and they’re encouraging the community to participate.
Students and community volunteers can work on projects at schools, and off-site, at places like Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore and Riverview Gardens.
Moua says they’re inviting the community to join them.
