With just two weeks to go before the start of sturgeon spearing on Lake Winnebago, there are concerns about ice levels.
Don Herman from Sunk Dive and Ice Service says the lake is barely safe enough for light vehicles. Local fishing clubs hope to put out their ATV bridges this weekend.
Herman flew over the lake this week, and he didn’t see any open water on Winnebago.
