Riley Green is feeling some heat from his tweet about the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (Feb. 2nd). He tweeted, “Great game . . . but can I get somebody to translate this Super Bowl halftime show so I know what they are singing about??” Of course, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were the performers, sometimes singing in their native Spanish language. While some fans agreed, others took issue responding, “You are ignorant” and “Damn Riley. I really love your music but it’s sad to see that you can’t respect people of different cultures. It’s music. Do you need to understand every word?? Are you that insecure?? . . . I’d like to see a man put on half the show they just did.”
So far, Riley's tweet has prompted nearly 300 responses and almost 1,000 retweets.
Riley sits in the Top 15 and climbing on the charts with “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”
