Gayle King has responded to Snoop Dogg's public apology to her. As previously reported, King was criticized for bringing up Kobe Bryant's 2003 rape case during an interview with his friend Lisa Leslie. In response, Snoop took to Instagram and called King a “funky dog haired b*tch.”
King said in a statement, “I accept the apology and understand the raw emotions caused by this tragic loss. As a journalist, it is sometimes challenging to balance doing my job with the emotions and feelings during difficult times.”
She added, “I don’t always get it perfect but I’m constantly striving to do it with compassion and integrity.”
