Chris Stapleton helped Tyler Perry bid bon voyage to his famous character, Madea, during Tyler's Farewell Play Tour stop in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena on Friday (Feb. 14th). TMZ reports that Chris was called out as a guest in the crowd by Tyler, who asked Chris to sing a little. He belted out a few lines of “Tennessee Whiskey,” during which the crowd went crazy.
Later, Tyler shared a clip of the performance on Instagram writing, “Madea could not come to the end of the farewell tour and have @chrisstapleton in the audience in Nashville, Tennessee and not have him sing a verse of Tennessee Whiskey! And he KILLED IT!! Thank you Chris, blessings to you, your wife, and them babies!!”
