The body of a man found in a field in Kekoskee is believed to be that of a 77-year-old man who went missing last month.
A Silver Alert was issued February 17 for John Bachhuber.
He was last seen in Mayville.
Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say the body found yesterday around 6:45 p.m. matches Bachhuber’s description.
The Wisconsin Crime Alert Network canceled the Silver Alert for Bachhuber about three hours after the body was found.
An autopsy will be done to verify identification.
