Oshkosh could be the next school district to build new indoor athletic facilities.
A private group is kicking off a fundraising campaign to add a turf multi-purpose building at West and North High Schools.
School Board Vice President Kelly Olmsted believes kids in Oshkosh deserve it. She says right now, Oshkosh really is at the bottom. She says the facilities bring in money, and she’d like to see the schools host events.
The fundraising group hasn’t set a price tag on the projects. Members are going to focus on building at Oshkosh West High School first.
